We took the smallest RC helicopter in the world the Silverlit Nano Falcon over to Sky helicopters in Garland Texas and actually flew it inside a real full sized helicopter.

It handled itself rather well.

The nano falcon is a 3 channel infrared controlled helicopter
it’s gyro stabilized
it flies for about 6 or 7 minutes and charges in about 20 minutes.

It’s very durable and easy to fly.

Pick one up for $39.99 and stay tuned for more reviews.

BlizzGo says:

So my helicopter broke is there anywhere I can buy a replacement?

Cameron Putt says:

Not a good idea because the heli could accidentally be flown in the pilots
face or hit him in the face causing him to crash.

did that helicopter just gave birth?

how did you add weight on the tail? what material did you use?

darkaxelgundam says:

If it can fly so tight Could you test it in a car

Simulationgeek says:

It even has a clear canopy

MechanoRealist says:

I have this one, and it can certainly use a little more weight on the tail.
I don’t know why Silverlit didn’t just do that configuration. It does after
all have forward/backwards control.
I guess it doesn’t hurt being able to fly a little faster forward.

It would be 20% cooler if the real helicopter was flying in the air with
the RC flying inside….

I have one of this small RC helico and have a lot of fun with it. It goes
fast to hover and smash many times the ceiling !!! Usually I fly an Align
450 Sport and a Raptor 90. My cats and me love this cute little mosquito. As
we say in France “Petit mais costaud” ! (Small but it’s solid stuff ).

HoppersLab says:

Fly it inside a RC heli, now that would be impressive, fly on!

Coolshows101 says:

Nice. I recently got the Syma S34 Chinook. After a bit windy flight today
and a few crashes I had an interesting problem. I all ways run it down to
the point when it stops, the blades spin slower then stop, so I assume that
is low battery safety.

After few minutes the back lower blades started spinning. I tested the up
and down with the remote and that did nothing. I turned off the remote and
nothing. I then turned off the helicopter and the blades spun faster. With
the helicopter on I turned it upside down and let the blades hit the
sidewalk as gently as I could, they then stopped.

Any ideas on what happened? I saw a video for the S22 Chinook where it spun
with out any throttle on the remote, people online said those problems were
fixed. but only one blade is strange.

Mikah b.s says:

His is awesome can you get it on Amazon?

Rotormatic says:

Awesome little machine. Good way to test it in the cockpit of a real
helicopter. But those guys at the hangar at 1:23 in the video didn’t look
all that excited about it though.

Brandon L says:

I bought 3 of these. They’re a lot of fun. As your AA’s wear down, it’ll
take longer to charge so make sure you recharge your batteries after some
use. Also, you can remove the stiff spring from the controller itself
where throttle is – I highly recommend doing that so you can control
altitude a lot better. I believe it’s forward heavy b/c they knew that
keeping it moving would help stability. I did a blade strike that broke
one of the rotors so although it’s very durable, you still need to be
careful. It would have been wonderful if they used 2.4Ghz instead of
infared though. I hope IR goes the way of the dinosaurs for helicopters
one day because if you don’t point the controller correctly at the
silverlit receiver, it’ll dive bomb. Finally, there is another canopy that
looks like the H-13 (korean war era helicopter) called the Heli-Bee also in
3 colors but they’re removable colored stickers unlike the original
silverlit falcons which are painted in real paints. I got those in korea
though so I don’t know if it’s available in the States. I like mine black
so I removed all the stickers from the heli-bee. Finally, the tail boom is
made of carbon fiber to protect the wiring that controls the rear motor.
Carbon fiber on a toy is amazing. Although I fly hobby grade helicopters
but I find this toy just as much fun to fly so I highly recommend it for
novelty sake. As the reviewer said, landing can be difficult since the ir
receiver is on the bottom of the helicopter. To aid in landing, you can
press reverse on the tail rotors which will make it act like a collective
pitch helicopter for a second and suck the craft 5cm from the ground to the
ground itself. https://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=45139

powertube5671 says:

I’d like to see this heli flown in the real heli while the real heli is
in-flight. It would be a nice demonstration of relative motion.

Kyle Ritchie says:

AMAZING!!! how much are they?! Im getting one, keep upbthe epic work man

DrZeeebra says:

cue “yo dawg, we heard you like helicopters so we put a helicopter in your
helicopter..” jokes in 3.2.1…

it should have been a flying helo, though. ;=)

Irbis 10 says:

Прикольно, только он чё-то шумит больше чем большой

Justwantahover says:

I think the R44 heli is worth about half-a-mill.
