If you are thinking of running it in water try CorrosionX. That stuff is
amazing. Look it up there are lots of videos how to waterproof ESCs

My experience with very fast cars is that it is always so hard to find
places where one can open it to achieve a full speed, and sadly most of the
time once it is at full speed is about to run our of either signal or sight
of view..

I never understood why would traxxas need real world driver license info in
order to unlock the XO-1??? I’m buying this car in a month or so but don’t
own a drivers license. So now what?.. I can’t run a vehicle I paid $700 for
at top speeds cause I don’t own this credential? I know there’s work around
but would like to use my I-pod Touch 5th Gen… ”TRAXXAS YOU SUCK”!..
Implementing mandatory I-pods/ driver license as the only means to max out
this cars full potential!..
On a brighter note I appreciate your informative review! I didn’t realize
traxxas sold taller battery mounts. I’ll have to pick up a set. You saved
me a lot of trouble with that tip!
