How did they tie that thing down? I’ve seen my share of real world dyno
pull disasters….LOL that thing is just screaming..What a beast and a
marvelous creation from Traxxas…Thanks for sharing the video…

Meaningless – no wind resistance in that box.
yeah right… I can make a car give 200mph too.
Now on real life, almost every video of this car going at 100mph or more it
ends very badly for the car flying into the air and shredding into pieces.
It’s the kind of car made to probably go at around 80mph, but they just let
you go further saying the car can reach that speeds and then KABOOM, go buy
another.
It needs other aerodynamic and more weight into it to go at that speeds
(and even if they make it go at that speed without flying, any irregularity
on the track, still make it end very badly).
Hope they have a fan in that box! And weres the wind resistance?

this is not 100mph out of the box do your homework
I see we have some hating MOFOs here lol! I have one I didn’t pay over $800
for it and yes it does 100mph+. And yes I wrecked it a few times but the
repair wasn’t even over $20! Sooooo why hate on something you don’t have or
even know about lol???
The 100mph mark isn’t that hard to hit with an R/C…it’s the 200mph mark
that’s a real bitch…
For all the doubters out there..with very little prep this car will do the
100mph mark..Yes, if you hit something along the way you will have hell to
pay!

there was not a fan. They only ran it in short bursts…. It is an enclosed
box with no air flow.

Yes it does, I had a traxxas truck that did 55, and this being much lighter
and having a better motor, why not?

this is almost as exciting as a real dyno run lol
Usually roller wheels (on a brake dyno) will apply a simulated air
resistance to the wheels, or the computer will compensate for it on an
inertial-wheel dyno. You get pretty close with either method. 🙂
