I have one, Its good , But it cost in parts . man it just fell apart ,
when it hit a rock at 30 +, and then the 22 foot jump just trash it when

3. If it comes with a OK Charger down the line what is a good charger
that will do other brands of lipo batterys?

The Reely Pyro/ Maverick Strada XB / Amewi Booster /-Pro,is also a
undistructable car.
I bashed with it over 4 years end I had only a little tore in the axle
carriers.
I have 2 losi mini desert truck .. And they keep braking on the smallest
thing ! I want to buy one of these . What is the most power you can get out
of the truck?? Can you go Tim Alan on one??? I want something that can take
abuse through drivetrain! And and outputs. What combo kit would you

I’ve had the Nitro Rustler 2.5 and the Electric Rustler. The 2.5 is
probably the biggest piece of crap engine Traxxas made and its not very
user friendly for beginners I lost interest in the Hobby after I had my
electric Rustler but mostly cause the friend I had to race with was just a
straight up dick. So now roughly 5 years later I am wanting to get back
into the hobby. Before I did not have a job since I was in high school, but
now I can afford the hobby and I just need something that can take the
abuse and keep coming back for more…wish the 4×4 Slash was out when I was
in the hobby.

i mean its fairly durable but i break parts every other run…. these guys
aren’t having enough fun with their truck if parts aren’t breaking… this
is an expensive hobby… if you don’t have the money for this then buy a
truck that will not go as fast… good luck rc’ers…

The are selling the Platinum LCG as of late, I can only recommend it and
you should do a review^^ Again: Dont buy the old chassis anymore!

Also make sure you have a set of rpm a-arms for the front so when they
break you don’t have to have it un running shape. That’s what I recommend I
have a platinum and broke the front left a-arm on the third batter pack but
my a-arm had an air bubble inside of it were it broke so im upset at
traxxas but it was gunna happen eventually.
I agree the slash is an awesome truck it’s really strong and durable,also
it has just the amount of speed most ppl can handle!

Wanting a slash 4×4 for bashing w/ a lot of low end speed but top end
around 50 with a 3s on the stock velineon setup (for a while). I’m going to
bash it hard and replace whatever breaks with RPM. I want to save as much
as possible upgrades wise, so ultimate/platinum worth it? I don’t have a
controller but I do have lipos. I’m fine with buying a good controller. In
the future, I’m looking to install Stampede tires and raise the ride
height. Mamba and CC 2xxx kv also for 4s use in the distance.

4wd will handle a lot better. 2wd will mostly spin out under power if you

Its less but you will need controller, receiver and battery. If you want a
TQi or equivalent thats 130 or more. Then you will want a lipo and a
charger.Which could cost you from 80 to beyond depending on what you want.
About the same price in the end. The RTR now comes with lipo and charger.
is the reciever new too ? because the antenna could be damaged ?
Be sure to tell your viewers to watch their engine temps if they’re going
to run a 3S Lipo!! When I bought mine, I went straight to a local park and
started bashing. Got a little carried away because I was having a bit too
much fun (so much so I forgot to check temps) and toasted the motor AND
esc…whoops. Luckily Traxxas was nice enough to replace them.

i would say it is, i dont have the slash but a rustler with aluminum
upgrades and the aluminum parts increase both your durability and acuracy
in steering . for the battery lipo it gives you increaed runtime and power
an choose it as big as possible ,that should give you increased truntime
and your lipo doesn´t get drined too fast ( that can kill a lipo )
What kind of remote. The DX2E is $60 from horizon or a futaba 3prka is $70.
