Well.. as a true RC Addict, screw that – Im making some Mud! Out comes my Skid Steer, a few Buckets of water, some top soil.. and we got SOME MUD! I have brought out a few Trucks to get soupy – a FrankenCrawler 6×6, a converted vintage metal Tonka Dump Truck, a Powerful Modded 4×4, and my Traxxas Summit! Also, for a Recovery option – I brought out my NEW Tow Truck.. to test it’s mite!
I expect each truck to Fail, and though this is a 10 minute video – the film took several hours to film. Interesting things happened to the trucks…

1) Frankencrawler had Mud in it’s motor
2) The Beast stripped BOTH Plastic Locker Differential Housings, front and back axle
3) Dump Truck – well, you see in the video
4) Summit had a Transmission servo horn strip taking it out of gear
5) Recovery Tow Truck.. is awesome, and needs stronger Winch Motors 😉

Well that looked like a good way to spend the day! Did I notice a little
“toe-in” on the rear steering axle of the recoverybrig?
Medic nice work, sux your winch line can be a high tensile strength. but
only if the winch is strong enough. That or use some snatch blocks to
double your pulling. I bet the winch on the Beast would have worked better
using the rig as an anchor .

Are your tires filled on that skidsteer? Or are they air filled? If there
air filled you ever have an issue poppin the bead off the rim makeing sharp

So, its cold as balls outside, you got the trucks all dirty (like they
should be)… How in the world do you clean them off when its that cold

Hi I’m Marcus I have a traxxas slash losi s course truck and a custom
crawler to push snow around my house here in Chicago. This has absolutely
nothing to do with what I just said but I think you should bring out
project overkill in the snow and mud it would be really cool to see it
again. Thanks Meddick many we could race someday if I ever see you with one

what you should do is make a better mud hole a little depper and take your
truck in it

you should look in to making a pole truck or a bed truck that would be a
sweets rigs to play around with and build

Great video homeboy! I’m pretty sure the CEN colossus would have loved to
play in the mud also. I do recall him smashing an A-arm on the 50 foot test
