Unfortunately, this sound kit is no longer available for sale. It was -25c during filming!

I’m a bit all over the place about this machine. It looks like a lot of
fun, but the stock version looks a bit cheap in some areas. I get that
you’ve replaced the electrics and the tracks but how much did the machine
cost in the first place and how much have you put into it in mods?

Nicely done! I really like the metal tracks, but no plow? Am I mistaken
that they come with a plow blade that you can raise and lower? I also like
the idea of the option parts like the aluminum plow brace and the power
“groomer” (I don’t know the actual name for it). I hadn’t thought of a
sound unit, but that can be had from any Tamiya truck I would think. Great
video. Too many people just want to put real high-speed brushless gear in
the Blizzard, which I’m sure is fun but I like the scale speed as well.
Superb video once again, as others have stated, one of the best Blizzard
videos on Youtube right now. Were you a bit bummed when it was “diffing
out” and getting stuck? (aka one motor turning while the other stopped at
ultra slow speeds?) I wonder if there is a way to get around that or if
it’s just the nature of the beast so to speak with dual motors and in those
situations you have to skip going super slow and give it more throttle. I
know everytime I saw it get stuck because of one track not spinning I
thought, “man, if they would just both spin in those situations it would
have easily made that obstacle without having to give it more throttle!”

I must know where you got that metal plow… I’ve bought over 3 plastic
plows and they break every time just from the cold weather making the plow
brittle. Please respond!!
Looks like perfect snow for the metal tracks.
Damn it, now I want one of these. The owner of my local hobby shop has one
of his own, and he has been look for metal tracks for a while.

Medic, you should get a small you sled to put on the back. Every one of
these I’ve seen that was a full sized vehicle had a sled on the back, and I
think this would look pretty cool with one.
Seriously man you should make comercial vids for RC company like Kyosho
here. They would sell alot more with your vids!

beautiful powdery snow and landscape. Ive always fancied gettting the
Kyosho blizzard it is so cool. I think maybe it could look better (scale
wise) if you added some lead weight into the chassis, make it a bit
heavier , then upgrade the motors for more torque.

Holmes hobbies brushless sensored makes these things rock. Also change the
bottom plastic for diamond tread aluminum to help lower center of gravity.
Did you ever go top speed? Is it geared down for scale appearances (if such
a vehicle actually exists IRL)? I was hoping this could be modified into
something with speed comparable to the really old Tyco Fast Traxx. That
thing was wicked fast for its time – and being a mere toy grade RC.
Medic can you recommend some diesel sound kits? By the way I finally got my
hands on an older DX model Blizzard.

I am trying to find good components for building a custom rc Sherman tank,
and these components seem adequate. What are the motors and drive systems?
Is there a gearing system? What kind?
