Click to Subscribe! ► http://bit.ly/JOovvU – Everyone always asks me to choose an affordable drift car, and today I did. It is a beautiful body on this mustang, the decals and color scheme make it really stand out. The rims are a great accent to the entire vehicle. Not too much under the hood though, stock electronics are entry level (but perfect for first timers) I picked this car up at my local hobby store, PM Hobbycraft, of course! The 27t Bushed motor should have enough pep to get the car going, without any real power to send you into the dreaded drift circles of oversteer. I will have to test this out in a few months when the weather clears up. As I know many of you will have more questions, here is what HPI says about their car:

“E10 DRIFT VAUGHN GITTIN JR. MONSTER ENERGY NITTO TIRE FORD MUSTANG RTR

Introducing one of the easiest-to-drift RC cars you’ll ever find, the HPI E10 with a perfect replica of Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s Monster Energy Nitto Tire 2013 Ford Mustang RTR! The Ready-To-Run E10 from HPI Racing is an entry level 1/10th scale electric car designed for fun driving with realistic looks and performance, all at a low price. The E10 was designed so anyone can take the wheel and give drifting or racing a try! Arriving right out of the box in Ready-To-Run form with a fully painted body and a preassembled chassis, it’s a simple matter of “charge and go” for hours of fun!

The E10 uses true full-time 4WD and independent suspension and specially designed drift tires, making it easy to drift on paved surfaces. The hard drift tires make drifting easy, holding a smooth line and maximum drift angle just like full size drift cars. An enclosed drivetrain keeps dirt and dust out of the gears for low maintenance and reliability. A large foam bumper protects the car from crash damage, and the chassis and suspension have been strategically engineered for entry level performance and durability.

The RTR E10 includes a high-performance SC-15WP electronic speed control that has throttle, brakes and reverse, allowing it to drive and maneuver just like real cars. Providing the horsepower is a powerful Saturn 27T electric motor for reliable power and performance with low maintenance.

1080p HD, 60fps is still processing my friends. YouTube is a little
overloaded, and taking some extra time. Please stand by 🙂

RCSparks Studio™ says:

Let’s unbox an affordable drift car!

SoftTrip says:

I hate the controllers that hpi provides for there cars today. They are
soooo cheap.

Jay Bellwood says:

You should get the sakura d3 CS sport and use the electronics from your
sprint! The car is fully upgradable to Aluminium and carbon fibre, belt
driven and it’s sick as

RED REBEL says:

E10 is not rc…its a toy …and SO expensive for what it is…hpi just

RCChoppercx2 says:

It definitely an entry level car. I do have one of these an no I’m not big
into drifting but absolutely have a blast with this car. Specially when
weather is bad an can’t go outside with my helicopters or mgt 8.0. I did
get rid of the stock motor an put a 17 turn in it. I plan on making a few
more changes to it like aluminum arms, drive shaft an better bearings. Not
looking to compete just having fun with it.

Benjamin Mulholland says:

Neat thing about this car is going to be Need For Speed No Limits game for

Kaden Haling says:

I cant find it on pm hobby craft medic

Punchbowl Crawlers says:

Do a build video on the MST FXX-D S I recon it is a great entry level RWD
chassis comes with a drift box and is so much fun with a few minor upgrades
(alloy steering link and turnbuckle set) I run mine with speed passion
13.5t brushless and savox sc-1258tg

Matthew Fant says:

It’s very nice! Nothing too fancy, but I’m sure you could hit up asiatees,
find a bunch of monster green upgrade aluminum parts if you wanted to. Make
it looking impressive:-) for the price, it’s a lot of car. Honestly, I’ve
almost bought it a couple of times. In the end, I always go for the sc
trucks and buggies and monster trucks, mainly because its pretty hard for
me to find a good spot to run these vehicles and get the practice. Thanks
for the unblocking medic!

Denis lane says:

I say e10 suck because I know cause I own one

Jabari BlackTyger Thomas says:

I watched your drift series with your HPI sprint 2 flux. You said in one
video “thinking outside the box is what RC is all abou”. So I am building a
sprint 2 drift dual motor drift car. People may ask why, I say why not lol.
Keep up the great videos!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rk2mtGjHG8

Matt Paff says:

+RCSparks Studio™ / djmedic2008 I will take the battery lol.

Jason Graves says:

Soooooo happy that your back on the drift cars. BTW i love your wedding
ring really smart. keep up the good work.

NSR's Channel says:

RC drifting is a whole another world!! When I got into it in 2009 or 2010,
I started with Tamiya TA-05 vdf. There was tons of mods and upgrades people
would do to their cars. There is something called counter steering which is
a mod to make the rear tires run faster than the front, and the point of
doing that is to make the drifting look more realistic like a RWD car. And
now there is actually a rear wheel drive drift cars!

Moreover, people get creative in making a drift car body, they make it so
realistic! I even saw once a body with a working speakers, windshield
wipers, and automatic opening doors in it!

I got into the counter steering thing and then I quitted drifting, because
I enjoy off road rc more, but it was a fun experience.

KrazyKiwiProductions says:

Thank you so much for the video!

Jay C says:

Exchange rate is high and going higher my local RC store recommended
stocking up before prices go up too much lol

willieevans10 says:

thats weird how it was already opened and the cable tie was already cut.
another giveaway that it was already opened is that there was no plastic
bag around the body. I have 3 HPI’s and all of them came wrapped in a
plastic bag.

cookiemonsta212 says:

Why not just get a mad drift or madspeed or drift star for just 100$ off
nitro rcx?!?

John Papp says:

look in to a thunder tiger medic

General field says:

I noticed, that car has actual struts on it!

GTTwincam says:

+RCSparks Studio™ / djmedic2008 Dont bother with the driftbox/gyro, it’s
only in rwd drifters that a gyro is more of a necessity.
I like that you chose a budget car to show people, but for your own sake
you should try drifting something MST, Yokomo, Enroute or anything in that
sorta class, the step up in driftability is enormous :)

Joey Thompson says:

I need a rc send to 49 vally drive
