The Kyosho Inferno GT2 Race Spec is the culmination of over 20 years experience in a category it created, and its performance and features are unmatched.

The Race Spec features a long wheelbase chassis that includes a forward weight bias for superior steering response over the short wheelbase version it replaced. The shaft drive system is low maintenance, and it’s fitted with a new high-performance transmission developed in the multiple World Champion Evolva.

A new KE25 engine brings more power to the GT2 that ever before, and it features a standardized rear exhaust system that accepts any racing exhaust system. A lightweight aluminum header and polished tuned pipe are included, which are designed to extract maximum performance from the engine.

The Kyosho KT201 radio system is factory installed in the GT2, which is a 2.4 GHz system that features 15 model memory, digital trims, sub trims, EPA, dual rate, and a host of other features that are usually reserved for aftermarket radio systems. Metal gear servos complete the package.

The GT2 Race Spec comes with one of four bodies, three of which are scale masterpieces of modern racing. The Aston Martin DBR9 and the Corvette C6R are legends in modern racing, and the Audi R8 is ready to take it’s place in history. The final option is the Ceptor, which is a Kyosho factory original that saved the cost of licensing, giving us a more cost effective alternative to the more popular factory licensed versions.

All of them have two-speed gearboxes. This was the standard set by Kyosho
when it created the class. ;o)

Andreas Jeraeus says:

This car looks amazing and i hope the postman come´s with mine in the next
couple of days. Fast question tho. This is the first touring car im buying
and i noticed that there is no hole in the windscreen for the air to come
in and cool the engine. Is that something that´s isn´t needed or did they
just leave that out so the car would look better?

tabletman gaming channel says:

top speed?

SPRCVIDEO says:

Yes it is. It just switched into second gear at that point.

SPRCVIDEO says:

It’s available in many shops. amainhobbies, absolutehobbyz, and others have
it online, plus hundreds of local hobby shops around the country. You can
contact Kyosho Customer service and they’ll put you in touch with someone
local that has it in stock.

SPRCVIDEO says:

I think the gtp2 is a short wheelbase car, and these newest machines are
long wheelbase. The body wouldn’t really fit too well.

Luke Curtis says:

yh. most have 2 speed gearboxes. 🙂 @xXGamingInstinctXx

Fatal_Inertia says:

Is that a gear shift I hear at 1:54?

xXGamingInstinctXx says:

Don’t know much about these R/C cars as haven’t been into them before now
but did I hear gear changes? Does it have a gear box?

Pretty cool video! Great looking car!

SPRCVIDEO says:

That was about 55 mph, and it was still climbing. I estimate that 60 mph
will be easily achievable in box stock form. That would be 89 to 97 kph.

RCSMAXX says:

clinton G. says:

nice

SPRCVIDEO says:

It runs approximately 65 mph with the right fuel and weather conditions.

SPRCVIDEO says:

It doesn’t need to have holes in the body for cooling, but as a practical
matter, it’s much easier to start and refuel the car when you have access
through the body.
