I just bought this plane a few months ago and just put it together. I have
a question if you can help. Plane is together went to test the motor and
make sure the blade is on correct. When running up the motor and holding
the plane in my hand it wants to pull forward but noses down ard. Does not
want to just pull forward. But forward and nose down to the ground this
seem a bit strange can’t figure out what’s wrong. Any idea? thanks

giving you a hard time, I’m a JR Man, lost three planes on Futaba in 7

Jason Carter says:

hey!!! great plane!!! and video!!! but what happend to the spectrum dx8????
I am about to go get one…. I hope it didnt crap out on ya??

BasementEngineer says:

That’s right, and so can AC motors. The bearings get unhappy about it
though–and since all model-type brushless motors I’ve heard of run on ball
bearings, they’re intolerant to water. Ball bearings have smooth ground
hardened rolling surfaces that run with zero clearance, and any rust
destroys them quickly. Plain bushings tolerate water for a little while.

joehandsome99 says:

This version does not come with the battery, but I do give links to all the
equipment that I used in the video notes.

Hey Eric, I’ve never flown a plank in my life but I love these RC
Seaplanes. Great review and video!

mightymouse1204 says:

I have had my Seawind 4 yrs also and I really like the plane only have had
it on the water a couple of times and it flys off grass really well . Fly
her many times every year in my flight rotation and she keeps on tick in. I
would not recommend it to a new pilot as she likes to fly on the fast side
awesome plane !
