When buying a mini remote control helicopter look for this. A USB cable for charging. Not there, you are going to get soaked buying batteries. Better kits come with charging from the controller and a usb charging cable. Do not settle for less. Has to be a 3 channel or you can not go up, down, left, right, forward, backward. Also you must have a trim control. A least a 2 band selector so you can control up to 2 helicopters. All the parts are screwed on, Not held together buy plastic clips.
Also buy a second mini remote helicopter, Charging time is up to 60 minutes, why sit around, 1 is charging while you are flying the other one!
If you can buy what you like, BUT look at buying a S107G, Those that are not copies will have it written on the helicopter S107G, get a red one and a yellow one, A & B.
Hope I have helped you, when buying a mini remote helicopter?

would you mind answering a question?
if i was to strap 4 of these in a frame and make sure they work well as a
‘drone’ helicopter, DO YOU THINK i would be able to charge them at the same
time as i was flying them from X amount of AA batteries?
i think 4 helis would have enough lifting power to lift themselves,
frame and batteries minus the plastic corpus.
thank you for any help i can get.

How do we on the helicopter

Edward Helinski says:

just in case you want to switch any helicopter to an A or B turn on your
controler 1st on A or B , Now turn on your helicopter. Now move your
controller power up and down to send the signal to the helicopter. To
change to A or B shut it all down and start over again. Remember after use
let helicopter sit 20 minutes. charge for 40 minutes. Cool down 10 minutes.
There is always a cool down period before and after use and charging

Edward Helinski says:

Just to be clear on setting the channel on your remote helicopter.
Everything should be off. Set your remote to A or B. Next turn on your
helicopter. Next turn on your remote. Move remote throttle up slowly and
helicopter will now respond to that channel. Only.

Thanks for posting this Edward. I bought two of these for my daughter, well
that was the excuse anyway, we are not quite as good as you when it comes
to flying them. But at least we have with your help, now worked out how to
be able fly both of them at the same time. Regards from Julian ( Canadian
in Norway )

I’ve just orderd two helicopters one of these and some other one what do I
do if they are the same band how can i change that?

Edward Helinski says:

Just a heads up, when 1st flying your helicopter make sure it has a SOFT
landing, practise on a carpeted floor or on grass out side, and only go
higher as you obtain more practise.

Edward Helinski says:

Also I have learned that a radio controlled helicopter works best with no
interference from tv, cell phone, lights etc. you can buy online for about
the same price as an infer red remote. I am happy with the one I have, but
I would upgrade to a radio controlled helicopter on my next purchase.

Edward Helinski says:

if you get two with the same remote code b or a by turning on the
helicopter and moving the remote switch back and forth to a and b it will
connect to A or B, so you can switch your helicopter to an A or B . Does
that help you ?

Edward Helinski says:

Just in case you do not know it, your phone charger with a usb port, will
charge your helicopter. Any charger with a usb port will almost charge
anything, if you have the correct cable. Also do not over charge, when it
is done, uplug then. Also there is a least 5 minute cool down period before
charging and after charging. Hope that helps?
