I discuss a couple beginner rc planes. The Hobbyzone SuperCub LP and the E-flite Apprentice

Comments

Matias Productions says:

Do not listen to jack, don’t waste your money on micro planes, buy the
super cub it is an excellent beginner and you can fly it in wind, unlike
the micro planes

Browning870 says:

Will that plane land on grass??

Dustin Blend says:

I just bought the Supercub! I am excited to fly it. I did not get a
simulator. Hopefully I can fly it okay :/

RideRedRacer says:

wow you just made this look so easy. I really want to try rc flying and
this plane looks perfect. I just don’t have a lake to practice on like that
lol

Aaron Myers says:

Do u want to sell one

Patozzzz says:

Hi, i took your advice and bought an apprentice about a week ago but i have
yet to fly it. When i was checking the controls before my maiden flight i
noticed the propeller kept getting stuck and i feel the power is not as
strong as it should be. Do you think this is because of a bad battery that
came with the plane or theres something wrong with the propeller?

Frei Denker says:

thanks but tell the camera guy to keep his mouth shut – we want her you not
the bullshit from him

john creed says:

I trained on the Topgun parkflite graduate. It come with trainer wings and
sports wings and is very cheap and very powerful for its size and also very
robust. I think when you train to fly RC planes there shouldn’t be any
electronic gizmo’s involved to make the flight more stable (AS3X). Its like
training to be a race driver in a Nissan GTR with launch control and esp,
abs etc. If you love the hobby you will be relentless and not be deterred
by a crash that cost’s money. You will feel more of a sense of achievement
when you take off and land a plane that is all manual without a crash. “It
was all you”

rafael g says:

The best planes to start flying are planes like the easy star and the
bixler not these with the prop on the nose I started with the piper cub and
it was a nightmare everytime I had to fix it because it nose dive and the
motor and prop broke. Starte with a bixler and ailerons the best way to go
not what these fools are showing here

Antreas Cy says:

how much $$ that plane cost ?

FroztiProductions says:

Will it be hard to fly a bottom wing plane like a p51 after learning on a
top wing plane like this? The reason I want an rc plane is because I love
ww2 planes but i hear learning on one is a stupid idea. But it would be
hard for me to spend $150 on a plane that I don’t really want. I already
have the body of a Cox classic war bird but I have no idea which parts to
get… Could someone tell me all the stuff I would need?

TomCruz58 says:

The Multiplex EasyStar is also really good!

Mulligan Knight says:

Where do I go to buy the Super Cub LP rtf when Hobbyzone is sold out and
EBay/Amazon has nothing to offer?? Please Help!

Matt Rody says:

Can the Super Cub or the new Super Cub S hold a gopro and fly? The new
Super Cub S seems great and I really want to have an action camera on it.
Any info would be great! Love the videos!

judson greig says:

my simulator would not work with windows 7..

TheAssassin2550 says:

How much does it cost

ameer alhelo says:

Good job. What do u think about FMS trainer 182 or called sessna. Can i
start with it as first plane? I flew a lot with simulation and couple times
with elift apprentice ??

OverKill428 says:

The supercub is out of stock and is also discontinued in Canada and in all
US websites I’ve checked it says it’s in stock in PMhobby craft in Canada
but it’s out of stock online there too the website is messed up 🙁 pls pls
help can u tell me where to buy it? reply pls

flyamil says:

Any plans on getting the newer planes?.. Parkzone Sport Cub or E-flite
apprentice S 15e? I haven’t found a video comparing these two. I never
landed on water. The Piper Sport Cub seems more fun and acrobatic with
bigger moving surfaces than the apprentice which looks like a Cessna. I
wonder what would happen if I attach Super Cub floats to a non high wing
plane like the visionaire or Sukhoi. Besides landing on water which would
be cool, in the simulator the floats seem to ease knive edge, sort of like
wing fences. Did you get that feeling flying with floats?

reza7521 says:

The beginner 3 channel plane is out of stock :(

Raycefan says:

Which one will suck my penis?

Totally check this out! says:

cool video! :)

Jackson Lieber says:

Nonononononononononono…… if you’re just getting into it, would you really
want to spend more than $100? I recommend hobbyzone champ, duet, or flyzone
micro super cub. The champ and micro Cubs are $90, and the duet is $60

Tek Orbis says:

thanks nice video

Army the Shipbuilder says:

I’m getting a 1450mm Zero tomorrow, it is 6ch, and I just wanna know, is it
easy to fly?

zacman2419 says:

I have I few questions for you since you seem to be an expert at this
stuff. I have the apprentice as well and I have experienced a few minor
problems that I thought you might be able to help me with. First, I’ve
experienced that the clevis the move all of the control surfaces seem to be
very weak and break easily and I was wondering if you know a stronger
clevis set I could replace the stock with. Also, during my first flight, I
had a slight prop strike on a landing and ever since the motor has been
clicking and has lost about 20% of its power. I was wondering if you knew
the problem. Thanks!!

Mike Rainer says:

ive always wanted a rc plane since i was a little kid but no idea where to
start.. started lookin online and found a f16 that goes like 100 mph but i
dont think i should start with that lol. Do you know a site i can find that
will help me understand what is what? i dont know half of the info im
looking at online like what kinda remote to get the 4 ch or 3 ch.. etc. and
what type of engines are best for what etc

john smith says:

Some very sound advice but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,starting with a three channel model
is NOT a good idea. If you take this route you will become used to steering
on the ground with the right hand stick. Then when you move to a four
channel model you will have to re-learn taxying with the other stick. This
is needlessly doing things the hard way. So,,,,,,,,,,,,,if your ambition is
to fly properly, go the four channel way from the off.

FEDERICO DEVOTO says:

Hi,
Is it possible to land the appentice without the landing gear? Basically on
its belly?

Thanks

J.D. Saldivar says:

Not a complex plane….However….Super fun to fly!!!!!!!

Lucas Lucas says:

The thing that really worries me about these planes is how fatal a crash
would be. Glider-type pusher planes are much lighter, and thus making
crashes less fatal

FEDERICO DEVOTO says:

Hi, i am going for the apprentice, do you have any fly demo videos ? Thanks

Greg Tanous says:

Nice!

frank paterson says:

Thanks for the tips

Alex Christie says:

This link is for anyone who would like to get into the RC game without
spending a fortune or destroying their plane on the first day out!

Harry Beckwith says:

Tks. I’m gonna go watch a Slayer video now.

superduperboyx says:

Any good beginner planes that cost less than $80?

Arif Mohsin Rizwy says:

My Hobby ………………Have free flying Spitfire, a Cessna and an RC
seagull

Earthling1984 says:

Well that wasn’t the apprentice 😛 That was another company and a
completely different plane! 😛

zacman2419 says:

My new charger says the battery has 10.93 volts, and about 3.95 per cell.

Earthling1984 says:

if you buy a transmitter, like a dx6i or even any other spektrum
transmitter, you can setup your rudder on right stick easy…

gingerssuck says:

if your using the nimh batteries then yeah it doesnt have enough power.
altitude makes a difference but colder air offsets it. also disconnect the
act sensors from the reciever. they suck arse and cut power to enable add
crashing technology

Jahuka Muka says:

Good vidoe mate. Me got the super cub lp

Jen Dobesh says:

If you want a good flight simulator I suggest the Real Flight 6.5. Its
great, just try it!!!

zacman2419 says:

Ok man, thanks!!! You are the best. But what about the charger. Is there a
way so I can charge it from my house before I head to the field without
using a car battery? Thanks again!!!!

Earthling1984 says:

Well, not for a beginner who wants to start on 3 Channels. But yes, the
Trojan T-28 is a great plane for a first 4CH plane.

jackvincent90 says:

is there any good rc planes for less than £50

zacman2419 says:

Did the dx6i have problems locking out during flights? Did spectrum fix
that problem? Kinda makes me not want to get that remote.
