Catching up on old hobbies, I was investigating estes rocket sets. These
were hard to come by in the UK, I had to go to the Stockport model shop
near St. George’s church a few miles out of Stockport town centre (using
leg power, no internet, no on your door step delivery, and it was the UK so
grey, cobbled streets up hills and raining). It seems estes’ rockets
haven’t really been moving with the times. No rockets with embedded digital
video/cameras for example. Anyway, following links I watched folks
launching x-wing estes rockets and the like, then I came across this and
was truly impressed. I guess when you’re making models like this, though,
models are your career rather than a hobby.

Well i dont see any on here..But lemme just say I really hate it when
people are stupid enough to say “i wishh they make these big enough to hold
a person” <----oh yes ive seen that and statements like it.....Those are called real PLANES people. Yes i know these two turbine easily could pick up a person..but you would almost have to gain for them to do so...basically hold on to the turbines put gas in a backpack and control the throttle with your penis.
How come they stopped using these commercialy? Like the 747 crashed allot
but it is still used.
