The Inferno Neo design is based on the World Champion Inferno 7.5 and Sports 4 platform, which includes all the most desireable features. The result is the most refined ReadySet 1/8-buggy Kyosho has ever released. The Inferno NEO includes great new features such as an aerodynamic body shell that’s modern and stylish. The body covers quiet a few features, included the new front and rear molded chassis braces. These braces provide the best balance of chassis stiffness for duability, and flex for better terrain handling and a wider window for tuning the suspension.
The Inferno Neo comes with 16mm big bore shocks with rugged 3.5mm shock shafts. All the suspension also includes steel turnbuckle tie roads, and for the fans that didn’t like the “wire” type steering link, that’s also gone! its replaced with it’s own turnbuckle linkage rod to simplify and expedite adjustments.
Univeral front driveshafts get the power to the ground, and dual disc brakes deliver both smooth and strong braking power when it comes time to hit the binders. A 125cc flip-top fuel tank is race legal and can be refueled (even while the engine is running!) as many times as you’d like. The fuel tank feeds the rock-solid GX-21BK engine, which features a pull-starter and plenty of power to keep you keep you in the competition. An updated two-shoe aluminum clutch features scissor springs just like the high-dollar racing buggies, but this factory assembled machie comes for a fraction or the price.
Kyosho’s old Micro Pin tire is pressed back into service on the Inferno NEO, and they’re mounted on the large diameter, vented MP9 wheels. These tires have been popular for decades in racing circles, and now they’re premounted on the Inferno NEO!
Last but not least, the Inferno NEO is distinguished by the all-black chassis, shock towers, servo mounting plate and upper braces.
The whole package is designed to deliver the absolute best performance, and at a very reasonable price. It’s got all the best performance features, while the extravigant ones are left off to create the best value in 1/8 off-road racing. Add to that the fact that the Inferno Neo is the only RTR vehicle that’s based on an IFMAR World Champion design, and this car should be at the top of tyour shopping list if you want maximum performance for the best possible price.
how to break it in?
I got the same car now, but can it go backward?
I have had this one and it last 9 months over 40 litres been burnt . all
the diffs are still fine bearings ok too . Now i got hpi trophy also 4.6 cc
after month of using it its broken plastic looks the same like in my kyosho
but its diifer it cant stand that kind of bashing like inferno ,diffs r too
weak to that emplacement ,bearings gone its too fragile i think HPI has got
good adverts but its rubbish afterall quality of the materials r worse than
kyosho
Where can i get parts for this car? I have the green one.. Thanks.
ok. nevertheless: thanks for your answer
Do you know what’s the geometric compression ratio of the gx 21 engine?
@Straightsix76 Specs are something that’s largely exaggerated in the RC car
business, so Kyosho chooses not to publish specs. Having driven the car and
hundreds of others, I can tell you that the one I drove is exceptionally
powerful for engines of this type. It’s got all the power you need if
you’re in the market for this type of car.
what are the specs on the engine? ie hp and peak rpm?
How fast can it go
@SPRCVIDEO ok i was thinkking losi was better till i found out the dont
sell metal sour gears and i was like wow
@07350zhr My preference is for the Race Spec, but this model has good
performance for the money.
@SPRCVIDEO does 25% nitro fuel work
how fast are it going KMH
@aonixer6 I must have been sleepy when I posted that information. The
brushless version is capable of very high speeds with the addition of more
batteries, motor and speed control. It’s not a cheap venture, but going
fast rarely is. But for the record, I was referring to the electric
version. My bad. ;o)
@yokiitaja1 Yes, of course.
@SPRCVIDEO batteries? :S
I’m not sure I understand your question. If you’re asking how it drives,
its pretty good. The chassis is based on the winning car in the IFMAR World
Championship held in Las Vegas, NV. This particular version of the car is
no longer available, but an updated model with similar features is
available, along with an upgraded “Race Spec” model that is very popular. I
hope that answers your question.
awesome car to control. but always remember to cable tie the batterys into
place on jumps!! messy when one comes out and the car goes off on its own 😉
my frend brought his slash 4×4 and i brought my gas buggy and the school
said that gas make to much nosie
which is top speed ?
@SPRCVIDEO 100mph??
@yokiitaja1 The fuel used in this video is Byron’s 20-percent nitro with
12-percent oil. Fuel with 30-percent nitro will also work.
@clippersown this dude its only 299
@2millionyears Geared for racing, it runs about 45 mph. Geared for speed
with some extra batteries, well over 100 mph.
@IngamePOV No. There aren’t any nitro powered buggies of this type that
have reverse. There are some monster trucks that have that feature or it
can be added optional. Apart from getting stuck once in while, there’s
rarely a need to use reverse, which tends to increase cost and complexity,
and it weighs down the car unnecessarily.
@SPRCVIDEO haha okay dude no prob…a friend of mine is getting the inferno
neo one of these days 😉 so top speed 45mph right and not 100mph lol
Looks awesome. Great video, you have me sold. I’m gettin one!!!!! 🙂
@SPRCVIDEO which is better this or the race spec buggy? the rtr race spec
is there a video on the Inferno ST series? The one in yellow shell
Wow, great video. Thanks
whoohoo it came out Wednesday…….it will be my first nitro gas RC
buggy……my mom can have my traxxas slash….
@SPRCVIDEO Thanks!
what % fuel do you use
@ARTKOREflix It’s coming shortly. Probably within a few days.
Three full tanks at idle, fourth tank, drive around on flat ground slowly,
getting faster on each tanks until about tank 8 by then it’s fully broken
in and ready to fly. Make sure however when you start the car you warm it
up before going flat stick, you’ll get a better engine life and more
performance if you do. Hope this helps
How fast does this go on 25% nitro?
jop Kyosho Inferno neo typ 1
@Bloodzyad No, this uses model engine fuel, which is a mixture of methanol
and nitromethane. There is also an electric version if you don’t want
something that’s fuel powered.
I’m afraid not. It would require knowing the volume of the combustion
chamber and that information is not available.
@SmileDudeMusic It’s just YouTube. They’re not so good anymore at streaming
HD video. :o(
damn this is a pretty beast of a car. prolly gonna be my next one, either
this or the HPI blitz. some1 help me decide =/
This particular model does not have a failsafe in the radio, but the
presence of a failsafe isn’t the security blanket that most assume it is.
It can only protect you from signal loss from the radio. The most common
cause for loss of signal is dead or dislodged receiver batteries, in which
case a failsafe can’t help you.
how Ride
quel essence cet engin utilise t il ?
I got one for christmas today >:D
is it avalible?
It should be available at the end of May, 2010
how fast are it going
@SPRCVIDEO well thats good 🙂 and thanks for your help.
