Having issues w my HPI cars,battery’s won’t charge all the way,even ones I
used a fewx,or my brushed motors aren’t running right,even after adjusting
and cleaning,my main car brushed motor,2spd HPI,so much torque I can’t get
a servo tight or strong enough to keep the car straight,even after doing
and using all the mods,I did break the upper chassis piece after a bad
wreck,the upper carbon piece broke above my front diff,I used JB weld to
fix it and tried to sand and use as little as possible but feel this small
weight change is slowing the car down, after years of this hobby the cars
sat for 3/4 years,this is when the car went from 45mph to about 25 mph,I’m
hoping I didn’t damage the com,running it after it sat for so long? I used
cleaner then com drops & replaced the brushes,I have over 20 new unpainted
bodies 190&200 my favorites I’ve always used are my 97-01 Honda Prelude
bodies,one modeled after my real show car and another has custom airbrushed
graphix I’d love a trade if anyone can find me some new 5th gen bodies, I
have is300,s2000,GS300,a custom made Civic EG hatch ,which I’d never
trade,a JDM Integra body,an Accord body & what I’ve been told is a rare
USDM Pontiac body,kinda looks like the newer body style GTO… If anyone
knows what I’m talking about please let us know,all are made by HPI w
exception to the EG hatch. Can anyone tell me why the guy that cuts
up,making doors and hood/deck lid open,lights and music to all his bodies
always uses regular ball can paint,like auto paint on all his bodies,I’ve
used a can once on a wing & it completely just cracks and turns to shite?
Why would he do this,after all the money and time he puts into them,what’s
that all about? Anyone know? I have tons of House of Kolor and airbrushes,
if he knows something I don’t please tell me. Rc body paints are twice as
much,it’s flex coat/latex paint,completely diff than enamels and lacquers
that he uses on every one he does. Sorry this is so long,this vid is
awesome,figure you guys would give me some advice on my car issues! please
any suggestions about my car/motor issues,battery or charger probs,please
let me know,I’d greatly appreciate it,Thanks!
