I like this but there’s no mention about the new transmitter/receiver
technology, not everyone is running on old crystals now, my truck still
does and I highly recommend that you change to new electronics because of
the reliability, on my truck the crystal in the truck fell out while
driving over mildly rough terrain and it went full pelt across the field
into a fence, thankfully though it didn’t go the opposite direction and
into a road well away from where I was.
Either way there’s 2 things you should do that is a high priority subject.
1. Prevent a RUNAWAY! Get yourself a kill switch, visit KillerRC’s website
for kill switches for nitro and 2-stroke. It doesn’t matter how new your
technology is, a good kill switch like KillerRC’s will save your vehicle
even if the on-board battery fell out like mine has a couple of times.
2. Upgrade the technology if it’s still using crystals, using 2.4ghz is by
far better due to the flexibility, you don’t have to change anything to run
with other models, it has a bandwidth that automatically adjusts the to
serial number in your car’s receiver.
Apart from that this video is great for all type of vehicles, not just HPI
brands and that is the great thing with this channel, they recommend and
not restrict. but the principle as mentioned can be used for all models.

The begging of the video kind of sounds like Nirvana In Bloom.
bring back the atv body and driver for the savage
trucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Release the Octane! I want to sell my Revo and run all gas. I bought a 2014
5B SS kit and love the run time and ease of use of gas.
Wow crystals! When was this video first made.
This ginger looks blazed up!
Jb weld and q bone will fix all ;)
I second that Aussie RC! I would like to see the 2.0 versions on all their
1/8 electric off road kits.
