While at SEFF, (Southeast Electric Flight Festival) Chris Sydor from Hobbico let me fly the Tidewater RC airplane on the pond at Hodges Hobbies airfield. By the time I was able to fly it there were several in the air and it was having a great time with this airplane.
It was very stable on the water and proved to be a fun airplane in the air. I had a great time testing out this airplane.

Well, it was an RC flying event so that was to be expected. It’s actually
very fun to be around.

I have the SeaWind from Greatplanes but this one looks even easier to fly.

got mine in today. Well put together plane from the factory, no defects
great looking model. Going to need a few mods. Haz stab is pretty weak, but
not a know issue. changing out the prop and a spinner, and add nylon hinges
on the rudd. other then that should be good 🙂

Nice Eric, To bad the Tidewater doesn’t come with an opional landing gear
to land on the hard surfaces. Looks like a very smooth flying plane that
even the biginner could fly. Tom

great.i probably would have landed it sideways.lol
