Our 13-foot USS Kitty Hawk replica launches her planes to the beach in this RapidNadion adventure. Some aircraft never make it off the deck, and others crash into the drink due to Kitty Hawk’s prototype catapult system, but finally, a plane makes it through.

That is very good, nice job. Did you think about having a small ramp at the
end of the deck to help getting the plane up? Also why didn’t you make the
runway longer, used up more of the available deck?

I have a F18 carrier landjng app on my phone love it I crash more than I
land but. Do good sometime. Practice is the key . I fly a calypso glider
which is a pussycat and an electric Hellcat which is hard for me to fly. It
is fast and small and I can’t see that well and the center of gravity is
very critical but thats what makes it fun. Great channel.

It’s a canoe with a sheet of plywood nailed to the top of it.
I spent a night on the Kitty Hawk with my Boy Scout troop about 10 years
ago. There is a rumor of a ghost on board. We never heard anything,
despite prior reports of the ghost banging on the inside of the hull.
How do you power the catapult? How did you imitate the steam coming up
from it? Landing would be incredibly difficult if you don’t have a pilots
eye view. Then there is that all important team that signals the pilot with
those multi colored lights.
My deceased brother in-law would love this. He did two tours in Vietnam on
board the Kitty Hawk repairing radar system in the fighters.
