A KYOSHO BLiZZARD!
Nice Medic, you will love this rig when you get the saber tooth esc mounted
;-). I went for tamiya 380 motors against what everyone else does get the
traxxas motors ;-). Have fun with your blizzard, and one thing only drive
it in snow and ice and not in sand or mud if you want it to last.

That is Really awesome man, what a great looking thing. I have nearly
bought one of these so many times over the years but have never pulled the
trigger because it does not snow where I lived. I wonder how good it goes
out of the snow like on sand especially. It seems like it has a lot of
potential to be something so much more!
Aaron, once the Sabertooth and Titan 380s are installed put a 3S lipo in
that baby and have fun.
If you wanna keep the plow you’ll have to modify the servo rod a bit when
running the Titan 380s…

Just how many versions of the Blizzard has there been? The original EP
version, ad GP version, An Alt body version, A single motor version and now
this one…
Makes me wonder why Kyosho does not just do a lot of re-issues of almost
everything. Just DO NOT re-issue the Rocky, unless they replace the plastic
chassis and deck plate with the “Turbo Rocky” Aluminum plates. THE plastic
ones were basically made to break. But I would go and FINALLY get the
Optima and the Belt kit. And maybe finally ship the previously “not for the
the US” kits like the Turbo Rocky and the Optima SE.
But I can see MT and Trail Truck enthusiasts going for the Big Brute,
Double Dare, and USA-1.
Hey medic I really want to buy one would you recommend this a 11 year old
who is really good at driving a rc car or would you get a rc car instead of
this blizzard
Can’t wait to see what you do to this sucker! Those of us who live with
snowy winters need a fast snow capable machine for year round fun.
Can’t wait to see it out.
I’ve found with the tracks the metal ones are much better for scale speeds
and heavy snow but the plastic are a bit better for very light snow or a
longer trail run.
Wear do you get all of your rc’s
I must know where you got that metal plow… I’ve bought over 3 plastic
plows and they break every time just from the cold weather making the plow
brittle. Please respond!!

Really wanted one of these back in the late 80’s when I got my first job
and started buying myself “hobby grade” RCs. But I live in Las Vegas and
have never had a practical reason to get one.
The transmission gears look like the ones in the exceed 1/8 – 1/5 maxstone
axles/trans. if so, you can upgrade them with integy alum gears for there
irock 1/8 crawler. P/n afac0002. i live in calif not much use here. LOL.

There is a machinest on RCsnowcats fourm who makes aluminum gears and major
improvements to the blizzards if your going to run one you NEED his parts!
I’ve wanted one of those for 25 years. They used to sell a version with a
van body and narrower tracks. But like almost every Kyosho they still want
to much money for it.
Hay dj medic I know your probably busy with baby Mac and all the new videos
and things but like I asked in the do you even flex bro comments I noticed
you wiggle the steers tire when your trailing or crawling and my question
is why is that is it to get the front end where you want it or to dig them
in to bite I’m only curious cause I plan on getting me a trail rig or
crawlers again sorry for being repetitive and I’m ready to see some more of
overkill
Going to be getting an old New Bright Fire Truck soon myself and
re-powering it with newer rc parts. Repairing my slash this weekend and
hope to get my rc tank this summer along with resurrecting a larger project
this summer as well.

What’s up medic you inspired me to get into the rc hobby. I recently got my
first truck. It is the ecx ruckus 1/18 4wd monster truck. Also with that I
did break it. I slammed in to a car wheel when I was running it I tried to
look for replace ment pars on my local hobby shop website and they didn’t
have any. Where do you think I could get replacement parts for it and I was
thinking of doing a build on it and posting it on youtube.
