Recently I had the privilege of filming and playing with some cool Remote Control Cars. This is some of the footage I got. There’s plenty of slow motion up to over 500 frames a second!

A special thanks to the BBC RC team for letting me come out and film their cars! If you live in the Bendigo area, to find out about the events go to their Facebook page:

This was shot on a Canon t3i/600D with both the 18-55mm and 55-250mm kit lenses. It was all shot at 50fps and where it is slowed down even more I manipulated it with TimeWarp, an After Effects plugin.

Nice video, my only is criticism is to focus on the landing, we want t see
the suspension compress. In your video the tires and wheels go off screen
during landings.

Glad you liked it!! This is the first I’ve even got to use RC cars let
alone make a video so I’m sorry I didn’t know that!:) If I ever make
another RC video I’ll be sure to remember that! Though it’s surprisingly
difficult to get good shots when the camera is that close to the ground and
moving so quickly.
