It is NOT waterproof, but some gentle splashing around in the mud shouldn’t cause you too much heart-ache! Some viewers will love the sounds and some won’t.. but hey, it’s my rig and I love it!

Enjoy this video.. its all for fun!

Comments

Ken Cornforth says:

I must shake my head at people who hate on the Highlift chassis just
because it won’t climb up the side of a mountain. Neither will a real full
sized pick up as Medic has already stated. My favorite RC is my Highlift
because I know its not for crawling. I fit a hitch to it, made a dual axle
trailer and now it hauls my crawler. It has limited flex and I’m perfectly
ok with that. A little hint for those of you who are looking at getting the
Tamiya Highlift, with their stacked up leaf springs and three speed
transmission, they make great tow rigs. Plus they look really good doing
it, you know, what they’re meant to do. 🙂

Alexander Sabourin says:

It just does not have enough clearence and it is a ford witch dont help

Justin Opsahl says:

Wish tamiya would sit down and build a better chassis for scalers cause
they look really good just need more flex and clearance before i will buy
one

TheStuffz says:

MFC 02 is the highlift sound unit. 01 and 03 are the semi trucks. Great
video! is it a master works or just mfc kit?

Conrad Woermann says:

I liked this video but I didn’t enjoy the engine over. It ended up getting
somewhat annoying.

Willie Squatpump says:

Well….I’m in the process of a High-Lift makeover….got an RC4WD TF2
chassis, R2 Dig trans, shafts, 1.9 beadlocks, 208mm mudders, Sense sound
box…..will be refitting the chassis with my stock single lief-springs
using the stock HL axle banjo’s….clearance should be good and especially
with the R2 Dig that I’m setting in but tucked in much higher up between
the rails so it’s balls don’t hang too low…LOL Of course a totally
custom ’52 Chevy fleetside completely “rusted” done with real rust and
kinda beatup but not too much…..noisy ESS Sense V8 module, gonna be a
nasty noisy ole beast….luvvin’ it. LOL

Co cobiispo says:

This doesn’t even look like a hobby grade rc. I feel like I can find this
in walmart. It’s not even scale and the sound effects are so bad I muted
the video. I’d rather hear the motors whining than that.

scotty555babe says:

Where did you put the mfc to keep it clear from the dirt and water, I put
mfc units and servonauts in my semis and there is a heck of a lot of
wiring. Did you make a compartment for it to keep it separate

Traxxas-lover 11 says:

What should I get if I wanted a cheap but good scaler?

Cataman Kosmas says:

Awesome footage my friend Medic.
That truck is a beauty.

highyoyos says:

as always, another bad ass video. it would be awesome to mount a small
smoke or steam system under the hood to simulate the steam that you always
see coming off the wet mud hitting the exhaust manifold and run a hose to
the exhaust area to simulate that. I’m sure an aircraft style system you
could hook to a momentary switch and use it as needed. so for the long ass
comment!

Ford F-DreiFünfzig HighLift says:

What a great Show! Thank you for sharing!

Btw: How did you clean the rig after rinding like trat in mud? Maybe you
have a video from cleaning too?

David Kline says:

Isn’t global warming great, Medic?! End of January and you have blue sky
and mud in Calgary!

paulmcnamara16 says:

Mitchell Ross says:

Wow nice truck! I got a traxxas e-revo and it has a mind of its own like
when i went to drive it on the street it almost hit a car and i had to run
and find it beacause it was 2 blocks away.I havent drove it for 2 years
from the problem with it and i shipped it back and fixed it but it still
does it,It would help if you could tell me whats wrong thanks!

Jonathan potter says:

The running sound sounds too munch the transition to idle if your gonna
have that transition do it right (this is fault on sound board creator not
medic)

ThreeMsRC says:

It sounds like it has a Magna Flow exhaust on it. I like it.

Mohammad Qadri says:

I made the sandking truck like that in gta v

Will the high lift f350 body work on the bruiser?

Bryan Bridgeman says:

Great looking model Medic! Are you sick of replying to annoying jealous
people with too much time on their hands yet? I stopped reading comments
because it seems that people have forgotten this is a hobby and these are
toys. Lol I enjoy your builds and the detail, enjoy!!!

Carter Sloop says:

Is a slash good because I might get one for my second rc car and I’m kind
of new to the hobby and you make great rc videos

Tristan Farina says:

Sounds like a dodge with a f250 body on the frame

TOJO RC says:

RcStoryStudios/realityShow says:

I’m a tamiya lover for life

Anthony Steffen says:

Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone out here does any type of body work for
rc cars? i have a team associated sc10, and i was wondering if anyone
coulld make me a body, and do some sick artwork on it, if not and you know
anyone please inform me. Thanks

DanZig WraiTh says:

Nice f350 rc tamiya ford i ever seen gd job medic ,im yur biggest fans cool
video as alwys im from singapore!!!

Tommie Krijnen says:

How did you do the car sounds?

Wyatt F says:

I like the sound kit at low RPM’s but I wish it had a higher RPM sound at
full throttle, that’s my only complaint. This video really shows how the
Tamiya Highlift can perform with the right driver at the wheel ;). Keep
doing what you’re doing amazing fellow Albertan 🙂 .

ZombrioFighter says:

I really love this rig and I respect everyone that thinks that the sound
effects is good, but naaah me personally dont like the sound.
Keep up the good work!

Cole S. says:

What makes it shake?

Jefferson Grant says:

That sound pack would get on my nerves!

rblenian says:

Im guessing this is around a $1500 rig

RC Performance Studio says:

Wow this car is awesome!
I love the sound!

DDMSteveB says:

I have said on many occasions if I had nothing but time/money/space I would
just build Tamiya kits over and over. They really are the best.

BleedScarlet8 says:

like the camo

Johnathon Herrera says:

Dude that sounds amazing

trenton kruse says:

the sound kit sounds terrible and nothing like a ford and it sounds like a
dragster

Rustic4x4 says:

Back up lights and a horn! Haha Sweet! Very scale, you said you have a
compartment for the battery, that way you dont have to take the body off,
is your battery in the box of the truck?

Dan Reid says:

lol I just realized, typical Albertan .. drive it till its stuck then get
the tractor 😛 cheers

Justin Kleeberger says:

Is that a new truck? and I hope your feeling better :-)

RCMad Fox says:

I have always wanted one of these Tamiya beasts. After seeing this I must
get one

tamim khasawneh says:

go further.

crazyattack28 says:
