Click to Subscribe! ► http://bit.ly/JOovvU – I was out playin’ in the Thick, Sticky, Alberta Mud this afternoon. There is no doubt that Tamiya has always promoted the hobby in great ways – and they pioneered the Scale Truck industry with their High-lift Series so many years ago. Really, these trucks can be modified to be “Mega High Lifts”, but as a base model (like the one in this video) the design is to act as a full scale 4×4 truck. Limited suspension travel, a 3 speed transmission, and a powerful motor give it lots of juice.. but the “old style” large differentials, and low belly/skid plate, make this a real challenge in a sticky mud bug. Mix that with the stock tires.. and its spells a recipe for disaster! Regardless of performance, i always enjoy the different challenges each one of my models offer. Life is full of challenges, and it just depends on what you want to try! This truck has much potential, but I think I will leave my mudding.. to trucks that have a bit more clearance. hah! A lot of folks ask me about the models I use in my videos, so I grabbed some info from that Tamiya Website – Heres a Link: http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=58372

“Electric R/C assembly kit of one of the most representative American pick-up trucks, the Ford F-350. The model features realistic ladder frame, 3-speed transmission and shaft drive 4WD system. Highly detailed injection molded body and large diameter wheels enhance the stylish high-ground-clearance look. Original marking stickers add to the truck’s overall realism.”

I hope you enjoy this muddy, mucky adventure 🙂

sam strothers says:

HEY!!! I took your advice and bought a summit rtr!! Best advice ever!!!!
All anyone needs is a summit!

With over 600 dollars invested in an off brand rc I am finally able to cut
my losses. I may even sell it.

sam strothers says:

Heres some advice for people looking to start this hobby.

If you cant find several videos from several channels of a particular RC,
DONT BUY IT. Not even if its on sale. That’s what I did. A $300 rc ended up
costing me over $600… And I still don’t enjoy it as much as I should.

justin forbes says:

Medic, i like the majority of your trucks, but this one i have a very
strong dislike, i love the body BUT the axles look like a toy someone would
get in walmart, everything looks very cheap

Kert Guiliani says:

if at first you dont make it hit that hole again and again till you make it
or break it haha great video Medic!!

The Tank says:

Nice Run, Thanks for sharing.

VeteranGamer13F says:

I gotta say man, not my favorite truck. The diff covers seem way too bog
and the suspension just seems way too stiff, and the sound kit just doesn’t
sound good to me.

Wicked RC says:

I like the look of the high lifts but just seems like they don’t have the
flex and smoothness Axial scx10 has. Ill be getting a high lift though

Derek Joon says:

Needs some beefy tires! Super Swampers!

reclaimer429 says:

no offence or anything but why the sound effects?? i like hearing the real
rc truck! am i weird?

TheStuffz says:

some proline flatirons would make it throw that mud better and go deeper!
lol

Hockeymike16 says:

You should buy a Polaris 1:8 snowmobile and put a mamba monster gen 2 in
it. It comes built better than the new bright

connor wilson says:

ThatOn3Gam3r says:

I’m from USA and I’m pretty sure that you’re in Canada but where are you in
Canada because I really want to drive my slash and some of those places.

RustySkull Productions says:

It’s painful watching those get muddy lol.

bigmudbronco says:

Time for a tire upgrade? I want to see the blazer go thru

martin wheat says:

Put some rc4wd mud slingers on it medic

Tyler Nutter says:

Seems to me like it needs deeper tires and a more powerful motor.. Those
kits are heavy pigs and the stronger motor would help with power to weight.

James Mccurley says:

you should get a nice chevy body for that truck

Jon Geddes says:

Great video! I really like the looks of that truck!

Rick Boo says:

Hello could you please help me i have the summit and its 2 standed
batteries 3000mah 8.4v i want to know if i could put 2, 11.1v, 5000mah
lipo’s on it and would i get a longer run time? Or would it just blow it
Ps likeing most of your vids haha

Nic Maleski says:

suspension is waaaaaaaaay to hard

justin forbes says:

In your opinion is it better than an scx10?

Glitch Mob says:

Is there any RCSPARKS stickers I can buy?

keith0716999 says:

medic just a tip if you want a serious mud bog for some of your more
powerful trucks like the black widow add clay to you mud or do what i do
because my wife wont let me turn my backyard into a mud bog (lucky) just go
to a baseball feild on a rainy day

Violetta says:

Needs bigger knobs on the tires.

Awesomus Maximus says:
