Anyways, we couldn’t pass up the chance to do a video with this BEAUTIFUL, Red Diamond Rattler.
Rattlesnakes are venomous and it is VERY important to keep a safe distance… however they are also a very important part of the desert ecosystem. Although we probably were a mild annoyance to this snake for a few minutes, we have a great deal of respect for this animal and we were happy to let him go on his way.
No rattlesnake was harmed in the making of this video 🙂

If I see something like that in my neighborhood, I would not lose site of
it, and kill it with anything I can see. Never take your eyes off a snake,
because your adrenaline is so high you can really get confused when
surprised,. And that’s when they attack. You can live all you want in the
jungle, but your a dead snake in my hood.You hippies let it go and it bites
a child, oh man your going to hell.
snakes detect heat signatures with their tongue allowing them to see prey
despite their horrible eyesight. so when the rc came rolling up I bet the
snake was thinking WTF IS THIS SHIT
I thought this was messed up at first. But im not a tree hugging dumbass,
im just a tree hugger. So I know that since the snake wasnt striking the RC
it most likely was more confused about the situation than scared or mad.
Because the RC (i think) does not have a heat signature or heat source, so
the snake probably didnt know how to process the information that was being
given tto it brain….oh and its not like they actually ran it over.

As you can see, these snakes are really agro which is why it took so long
to actually strike. Don’t be a fuckwit. Leave the things alone.
So I can imagine an alien from outer space picking one of these suckers up
by the tail, wondering why it evolved the rattle. Then it gets bit and
wonders why it feels sick now. Game over alien, game over.

WOW.. Just wow.. what a beautiful snake. I love the footage afforded by
this means of filming. In my humble opinion you did nothing more then play
with it.. Not unlike any other species that play. I didnt see a snake
seriously worried. Had it have been, would it have “sought refuge”
underneath the car? Come on people. In the end it went on about its day to
help us humans by doing its part in the food chain and we got to see and
enjoy some beautiful footage. Thanks for sharing.
Lol, just looking at the dislikes, I can imagine the amount of PETA people
freaking out. I’d like to see them have to deal with rattlers on a routine
basis at/around their homes.

cool to see and here snake species up close that i don’t want to come

i would likely shoot them in the head with a pellet gun if i see them on my
property just because there venomous and can pose a large threat if you
unknowingly come across them. i like non venomous species of snakes but i
look at venomous snakes as a threat.
I catch gardener snakes for fun, then release them later, they great on
controlling insect populations.

Video seems to make an interesting point in this case, And that would be
that apparently you really have to make a Rattlesnake feel very much
threatened before it will strike.
Trying to hide under it…interesting.
Interesting how the rattler couldn’t sense any ‘heat’ coming from it, nor
did it have a familiar smell…so it did not strike…and then used it to
shield itself from the sun’s heat….

Well he piss off the snake but at least he did hurt it just dramatized it I

while handling tire and you got venom right in your finger its a bad
situation I seen people get venom on there boots with out knowing get
