Click Here To Subscribe! ► http://bit.ly/JOovvU – I have made the jump 30 foot from peak to peak – and I made it at such an angle it throws the RC high in the sky – or, at least that it is what it is designed for. This is my Traxxas Slash Ultimate edition. When purchased it comes with all the aluminum upgrades already done. To power this truck (everything is stock) I am using a 3s 5000mah lipo battery. Its a hard case, and quite heavy. For the tires, I am using Proline Racings brand of paddle or “scoop” tire. The truck handles great in the air, and I look forward to jumping this truck again!

Let’s get ready for the launch…
Haha! This just gets better and better! I was hoping you’d break out a
shortcourse truck on the big gap jump. I think you got some extra hangtime
from the parachute effect that happens with the slash. That had to be close
to 40ft!!! Time to move the landing back another 15ft and since your
already moving all that dirt you might as well add more to the take off
ramp. Who’d of thought we’d get so much entertainment from what started out
as a nice 20ft dirt launch ramp.?.?. Love it medic, thanks for sharing
You’re gonna need a bigger gap!
Medic I am very jealous of the amount of snow you have. We have just a
little dusting, and it rained today. More (snow) on the way tomorrow.
If there’s one good thing to do when replacing a broke part its making your
own parts out of molds you can make for fairly cheap. I got a hold of some
plaster made molds out of EVERY part on my ECX Torment short course truck
and made metal pieces, the only dangerous part, out of real steel. I used
diecast at first but with extreme cold like Canada’s I recommend steel. I’m
a noob when it comes to RC I’ll admit it but I’m also a metal worker and a
carpenter, and a auto mechanic, but it has saved me SO much money its
unreal. I know you should support your local hobby shop but what if the
closest one in an hour away and you can’t get there? Or you break a part
and your car won’t start? Or you just can’t afford the price of new
suspension arms, all of the arms upper and lower. Molding is easy once you
get the hang of it.
It did 30 feet with ease! By the look of the landing I bet you broke
something…
Somebody plz help me I’m planning on getting a traxxas slash 4×4 with a
traxxas 2s 5000mah 25c lipo battary but since I never bought a new battery
do I need to break in the battery and also witch is better that traxxas
battery or a venom same size just with a hard case? Thanks for help
Lmao where was the beast jumping it lol I know it couldn’t doit lol
That thing cleared the 30ft gap and dirt pile like a champ! Did anything
break on the Slash?
FANALY something traxxas !!
Awesome. About how fast was it going when it left the jump?
At 0:10 LOLA that was anticlimactic
so i have a question, i have a Traxxas 1/16th Slash 4×4 and i would like it
to go faster. what should i do for upgrades?
did it break guys
Best part about winter bashing is that the electronics stay cold. You can
run as powerful a battery as you like, and still be several degrees under
max.
cool
And that’s why I like rc! can overshoot, and don’t hurt!
Damn dude put some wings on that beast thing flew past the landing ramp
“shes a flyer”
Yo Body, You’ve got the Spirit! Cool Idea and good Video ,too. Maybe you
should pull the Breake a bit in the middle of the jump for a cleaner
landing. I live in tiny Switzerland and we have so less space, always makes
me jealous when I see such nice wide Area of No Man’s Land. Keep it up!
Nine video. I just got a traxxas slash 4×4 ultimate. I am soon going to put
up videos of it with a rustler vxl.
I’m guessing nothing broke. That’s the good thing about the Slash. They are
best for bashers.
Axial yeti is amazing but the down side is that the wheels broke the first
run but the up side is I have trenchers 2.8 is amazing were I live
As always great vid man.
here in canada its so cold that the tire of my savage flux blew with only 2
bateries of 2 cells like wdh i broke 2 of them
40 foot plus monster on a flying lipo, you should be proud you got the
Traxxas to fly longer on a lipo than boeing did at first with the dream
liner..and I bet you didn’t spend a billionth of the development costs…
how do people jump their slashes like this without their bumpers breaking
off? every time I jump my slash on 2s LiPo my back bumper always needs to
be rebuilt :(
I’m looking forward to one in about 2 weeks. Medic, you’re the main reason
why I choose the Slash instead of the losi sc10. Thanks for sharing the
hobby experience.
WHATS THE BEST BRUSHED MOTOR (aftermarket not a titan) for a 2wd slash if
im going for speed
We need 50 feet brother (Hulk Hogan voice). Love how you’re launching all
of your capable rigs into orbit. Bash or Die Medic!! Whats your opinion on
this Kyosho FO-XX brushless edition?
ever thought of aother losi 5t project? like maybe buying a roller and
converting it to brushless? or is the 5t too much XD
Great video looks like you could have cleared 50+ feet
Hey bud, awesome jumps but put one of the camera where it lands so we can
see that too. :)
O>O well something probably broke XD i sence a repair video coming up soon
xD
I want a good affordable RC car with off-road capabilities for beginners,
any recommendations?
Awsome vid medic!!! I am geting mamba monster for my slash 2wd power for
days :)also did you break anything on the slash 4×4 yet?
RCSparks Studio™ / djmedic2008 so the slash ultimate is good because I’m 10
yrs old and for christmas i want one to start to get into the hobby
Great vid medic I was doin that with my slash 4wd and2wd you end up
excepting that you will break stuff!
Can you do an unboxing and review of the losi xxx sct 1/10 scale electric
brushless please
It’s not a jump as much as it is a leap…a soaring leap into the cold.
dats sweet
What do you think about buggy s I got a redcat backdraft was wondering what
your thought were on that car since I can’t seem to find anyone who did a
actual review of one
